Pinot Grigio from the Giasbana (Jazbine) vineyard in the municipality of San Floriano del Collio, with a southeast exposure on clay and ponka (marl). Harvested at full ripeness, the grapes are directly pressed from whole bunches and aged in large Slavonian oak barrels. Bottled unfiltered.
Vineyard: Giasbana, 50m above sea level; clay and Eocene flysch, organic farming, grass cover, single-arched pruning, yield of 40q/ha, full sun, south-east exposure

Vinification: Direct pressing of whole bunches
Fermentation: Spontaneous in 10hl Slavonian oak barrels (HR)
Maturation: In large oak barrels for 12 months on its own fine lees
Bottling: Without gravity filtration
Tasting notes: Hazy straw yellow, intense and very expressive hints of white fruit, flowers and honey that evolve over time into more biscuity sensations, very fresh, citric and tense, denoted by a very pleasant softness and a harmonious salinity
